7 Dutchess Projects Tapped for Potential State Funds

Seven development projects in Dutchess County are in the running for state funding, having gained a nod from a regional advisory panel in a statewide competition that aims to attract investment and create jobs.

The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council has named “priority projects” and sent its picks to New York state’s Empire State Development Corp. for consideration. A total of 24 projects were named, of which seven are in Dutchess, said Marc Molinaro, Dutchess County Executive.
