Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park to Host Mid-Hudson CRAFT Kickoff Meeting At Inn at Bellefield

HYDE PARK, N.Y. (Feb. 08, 2024) – Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park, a world-class hospitality, tourism and residential destination, will host the annual kickoff meeting of the Mid-Hudson Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT) on Friday, Feb. 9, in the new Inn at Bellefield.

Mid-Hudson CRAFT organizes a series of about 15 farm tours each year where farmers-in-training experience farming practices, develop practical skills and network with other farmers and apprentices. At the meeting, organizers will arrange the year’s tours with volunteer host farmers.

“We are proud to support Mid-Hudson CRAFT in its mission to nurture farmers and farming in this spectacular region,” said Tom Mulroy, chairman and CEO of T-Rex Capital Group LLC, developer of Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park. “As the Northeast’s first agrihood, Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park is the ideal location for an event that does so much to promote the region’s rich agriculture.”

The 137-suite Inn at Bellefield opened in January, becoming the first completed structure in the $1 billion development.

The Mid-Hudson CRAFT chapter covers Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Orange and Ulster counties. The tours are open to farmers of all ages and skill levels, free of charge. The organization strives to offer visits that are diverse in enterprise, scale and representation.
