Twenty years ago, Anne Farrell saw the Hudson Valley’s potential as a “Napa Valley” of the East coast.
The North Salem resident believes the region has harnessed that potential, and she hopes to highlight it through Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park.
“It’s been great to watch it develop over the last couple decades into the breadbasket of the region,” she said. “And with Bellefield, we want to showcase that.”
As the Hyde Park development’s head of agriculture, Farrell wants to establish Bellefield as part of the “bigger picture” of the Hudson Valley food scene.
The $500 million Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park project is planned to include two boutique hotels, 550 residences and a market square across from the Culinary Institute of America’s Hyde Park campus.
